BBQ 'n' Blues Festival Kid's Zone

The Festival this year has a great opportunity for service. We have vacancies for Chair and Co-Chair of the Kid's Zone, which is one of the most popular and rewarding venues of the festival.

Sherry Barbour has each section of the event organized, so that anyone taking over can use her plan and implement it with just a few changes or adjustments.

Sherry will be assisting Buster McCurtain this year as co-chair, therefore, the reason for the vacancy. Our community looks forward to the Kid's Zone and the enjoyment it brings to the hundreds of kids each day of the event. Please contact Buster about volunteering for this leadership role. We need a chair by our first meeting this week, January 12th.

Reverend Tunde Bolanta is the President of Restoration Ministries, headquartered in Kaduna, Nigeria. His ministry has a strong prophetic edge with God confirming the word through salvation of souls, healings, miracles, signs and wonders.

He also doubles as the president of Mercy Home Orphanage, Maternity and Vocation Centre, which is an arm of the ministry. The ministry offers free vocational training to indigent members of the society. Recently, the centre graduated 345 of such people.

The ministry also supports two public schools and one Christian Boarding School. Rev. Bolanta will be speaking to us about his vision for the city of Kaduna and the nation of Nigeria.
