Shoes for Orphan Souls, a ministry of Buckner International, has distributed more than 2 million pairs of new shoes to vulnerable children in the United States and to orphans in 69 countries around the world. While the program has made a difference in many lives, there are still millions of children to be reach – all through a pair of shoes.
The Rotary Club of Bixby has the goal of collecting at least 1400 pairs of new shoes that will be shipped to, and distributed by Shoes For Orphans Souls.
Last year Bixby Rotarians donated over 1350 pairs of shoes to orphans in the U.S. and throughout the world. Since 2004, the club has donated nearly 5000 pairs of shoes.
